Naim Supernait [猛兽机] used

I had a Nait 5i-v2, which was just an entry-level player,upgraded to Supernait [石兽机]sounds more meaty ,refined and masculine, knocked the socks off any smaller Nait1 -5 anyday,anynight.

in a nutshell, this is a cracker of a Amp, It has a great knack of revealing lots of detail without screaming in your face,big immediate sound that involves you emotionally without boring you with hyper-detail. The Naim`s Powerline quicken its tempo and punch, but not any good powercord will do so too, some chicky expensive cord will only slowdown its tempo, and make him sounds like a lifeless Audiolab 8000. With Sara, he is emotionally involving, can't-keep the ears from stop-listening. The midrange is really superb and natural, same with the high,according to my past experience the Hi can be further icing smooth and Bass can be “tighen”up further with a simple tweak[inside de power distributor].

Sonically how it compared to the 282/SC/250. To my surprise? It wasn't far off. Of course the pre/power combo was more mature but the sonic signature was essentially the same, just less of everything but that didn't matter one bit. Funny enough at times there wasn't much in it at all, depending on the music and loudness level played. Having a maxed out nDAC as source probably helped but the SN just is the closed to a 282/250 in the Naim hierarchy. A great amp, even on it's own. The addition of external power [teddycap] is just the icing on top.

It's one thing to read about Naim stuff and understand it intellectually but true knowledge is only gained through personal experience..so go and grab one to try! why wait??So I'd call it gaining experience at a deeper level.

Taking 15%deposit to book the 3rd supernait.For securing a purchase price below 10k with all Din cables included to use with the teddycap the only power supply which allowing head&shoulder improvements over any standard Naits 1/2/3/5/xs and to cure the endless nagging noises.
