Condition 8.5/10 (5 yrs warranty from CMY but I'm not sure if transferable)

Short self review:
This sub is meant more for music. It simply extend the lower range of your main speaker giving you the deep, tight and controlled bass not achievable with standard bookshelf or even those floorstanders with big woofer. No more boominess associated with standard sub when it comes to music playing. Also true when playing concert bluray/dvd/mkv.

As for handling movies .1 LFE channel it does a respectable job with good low impact and grunt on explosions. Not the best though since I've heard better low, rumble and air pressure from SVS, Velodyne and the likes which optimized for such event but try to use those ported subs to play music and you'll know what I meant. The boominess can drive you crazy lol.

Another good thing with REL is there are dual connection to the sub you can connect at the same time. I use .1/LFE input with AVR for movies and the high level input to my stereo amp for music. No more cable swapping and with separate volume control for each input it doesn't get much easier than that.

I'm happy to keep this. Just thinking if I can let this go I can go buy higher range of REL lol. I'm currently drooling over REL R-528SE

I have tested his subwoofer indirectly during sound test for his mordaunt short. Well it's give great bass and as great as what he mention there...true story.
