Tested with a Denon AV Receiver and bypassed the AV Receiver's amp i.e. by connecting five pieces of RCA audio interconnect cables from the Denon AV Receiver pre-out sockets to the input sockets of the Rotel “RMB-1075” 5-channel power amp inorder to drive 2 front speakers, 1 centre speaker and 2 surround rear speakers… and what a difference it made, never before did I have the floor shaking and still with a much “fuller & detailed sound” than just using a stand alone AV Receiver.

This was a big step forward for anyone who is “serious” into high-end Home Cinema setup.

This multi-channel power amplifier delivers 120 watts (all channels driven into 8 ohm speakers), thanks to a power supply composed of a generous 1,500 VA toroidal transformer and eight 10,000 µf British-made Slit Foil capacitors.

20 output devices, each of which is rated for 130 watts and 15 amperes of current capability, make full use of the supply's potential.

The RMB-1075 's generous headroom and state-of-the-art signal-to-noise measurements ensure unsullied reproduction of the most dynamic as well as the most delicate sonic nuances.

Complete with gold plated RCA and DB-25 input connectors, the RMB-1075 is ideally suited for either home theater applications or bi-amped systems optimized for music reproduction.

“Rotel has done it again with the superlative RMB-1075. I think this product represents one of the best values in home theater amplification on the market right now, and recommend that you put it on your short list when shopping for upgrades. It would be a fabulous addition to the pre-outs of any surround sound (AV) Receiver, bypassing the often less-than-adequate power amplifiers they have, and especially when you migrate your system to DVD-A and SACD.

“But, also, it would be wonderful to pair it with any dedicated (surround sound) processor out there. I have been working on this review for quite a while, but I have had so much fun showing it to friends, and enjoying it here in the lab, I put off publication because I did not want to send it back (to Rotel).”
