Hi Guys,

Need help here if anyone knows that is there any tax chargers if I bought hifi item from Singapore. I am interested to buy this pre and power amplifier from one of the seller in here that live in Singapore. Thanks.

Like any other electronic items... on your way back to msia, there will NOT be any export tax when u pass from singapore custom but there will be an import tax once u cross over to jb custom.

Most people i know will throw away the packaging or boxes but keep only the item. The reason is that if u get 'caught' jus make some excuses such as... a 2nd hand gifts from relatives. Or.... u can always hide the items very very well under something soft to cover it.

Oh thanks for the reply sir. I should throw the box and make it as 2nd hand gifts from relatives. To hide the item I dont think I can coz the mono power amp is quite big. Hihi...

Or you can hook up the amps to your car hi-fi and say you add the mono power amp for more umph!
