A New Venue in Melaka: OLDTOWN Grand restaurant and performing stage

There is no doubt that No Black Tie (NBT) holds the title of the best small venue in malaysia, and for the past 16 years since NBT's establishment, many small venues came and went, none could sustain the reality of small crowd and high rental.

A well-connected music lover in melaka by the name of Willie Teo, who has long been supporting the performing arts scene, feels the need to do something for melaka music lovers. He brought the franchise of oldtown cafe and turned it into a restaurant with performing stage.

It is a very retro and cosy setting, with very good sound systems provided by local high-end Pro-Audio manufacturer, GECKO. Yes, GECKO is very good. pro-sound lovers must check out this local brand founded by Daniel Foo, based in melaka too.  

We were the 2nd act who performed there since its opening in April 2015.

We played to a fullhouse audience and it was a great experience.
