Reference Series KEF 205 high end floorstanding speaker

KEF Reference 205 in cherry, made in England. Simply a gorgeous speaker, they're like fine furniture compared to a lot of the BOX variety. Two 8" bass drivers, a 6 1/2" Uni-Q mid w/ 1" tweeter in center and a 3/4" supertweeter. Can be tri-wired/amped. Astonishing level of details when paired with the correct amp.

Five drive units in a four-way configuration are employed in the Model 205. The single Uni-Q driver array for upper mid-range and high frequencies, the 19mm Hypertweeter for the very high frequencies and a pair of 200mm (8") drive units in IDL configuration for low frequencies. This system works optimally in medium to large rooms where its controlled and extended bass lays a strong foundation to the superior imaging of the Uni-Q driver array
