2nd Hand Hi-Fi Shop

Post by stevengan88 on Mon Jun 06, 2011 10:14 pm

I've not been listening to hi-fi for many years, just realised still have a cdp, a dac and a tube buffer in the store room. Thinking of setting up a basic system in my office.
Anyone know of any hifi shop in KL that sell 2nd hand equipment? Wanna get an used amp and a pair of speaker to complete my system Laughing

I think a misprint, not Maggies maybe a pair of big MBLs to be posted soon Very Happy

VS my friend, must say that I just can't keep my eyes off your avatar .. I mean the thingy she's hugging ... some kind of new planar speaker, a new Quad ESL model perhaps.. Embarassed

Back to the topic in hand, I suppose Steven, you can easily find a lot of pre-loved or used speakers and amp to choose from here in these pages and a lot of helping hands and advice if you need any. To start off what cdp/dac do you have.

Good luck buddy in your quest to resurrect this hobby.. cheers sunny

True Ribbon

Maggies MG3.3R in excellent condition

No delam, both ribbons recently changed.
Exterior condition if look from far, like new
If near, maybe 8.5

5.9K
Beats the hell out of any 1.7 IMHO, YMMV,

Cons:Needs powerful amps and a pair of critical ears.

No, not speaker.

It is a condom. You are supposed to make love to her from the other side.

You will never catch anything from her.

Maggies are my second wives, I'm quoting what my real (1st) wife said to me Very Happy

Sorry friend, just kidding.. It's a nickname of sorts to Magnaplanar speakers. These are planar ribbon speakers, u can google around.. Very Happy

Just to add, u already have a nice cdp n dac, I'm sure this is not the first time you box in the ring before Very Happy. I think a lot of stuff here can complement you NAD n Little Bit Three DAC first.
