Selling one unit original Mcintosh C20 tube preamp early version:

McIntosh C-20 Tube Preamplifier, Vintage 1960

The C20 is one of the 2 finest sound quality tube preamps manufactured in the 1960s. This C-20 has no cosmetic problems and shows no sign of storage in a hostile environment.
This version of the C-20 has controls modern preamplifiers cannot afford to include. For example, C-20 front panel controls:

Phase switch
High frequency cutoff
loudness controil
2 Phono inputs
2 Tuner inputs
2 Tape inputs
Bass and Treble each have several assorted RIAA compensation curves
Each Phono input on rerar panel has 3 different phono accomodations.
Rear panel has Left & Right channel controls to trim the low frequency
Rear panel has 5 convenience plugs

Tubes:
RCA 12AX7 (1960') x 2 / Mullard 12ax7 (1958' code 'B' early batch ) / Siemen 12ax7 x 1(code 'T62) / Tungsram 12ax7 x 1 / the 12AU7 x 2 are vintage Siemen 1960 / the 6x4 tube are GE brand . All tubes were checked on calibrated TV-7 tube testee and test well over minimum.<
C-20 is ready to be operated in your system.
Please be aware the resistors, capacitors are 50 years old. For this reason the preamaplifier is sold in "as is" condition.
