F-200 speaker cable ……QED cables, made in Britain, are rather more discreet. They come in black or white, and some versions, including the top-of-the-range F200 cable, are pressed flat so that they can be slid underneath carpet or tacked around a skirting board.

The cables are constructed of multiple strands of fine copper wire. QED takes the line that more strands mean more surface area, improving the path of the high frequencies.

The company also claims that the extremely pure form of oxygen-free copper used in its wires forms larger-than-usual copper crystals. These crystals, the theory goes, form small "dialectrics" or stepping stones for the audio signals, dramatically improving performance
